Police Report

C-11 Police Officer Mike Keaney will provide the police report.

 

Fr. Linh Nguyen of St. Mark’s Church will introduce himself.  This gives us the chance to meet Fr. Finn’s replacement and for Fr. Ngyen to know more about our civic association.

 

Shelly Goehring, formerly of the Mass Affordable Housing Alliance (MAHA), will speak about the Community Preservation Act (CPA) about which Councilor Campbell spoke at our April meeting.  The  Boston City Council voted recently to put the CPA on the November 2016 ballot for voters to decide whether or not to adopt a 1% surcharge on residential and business property earmarked for affordable housing, parks/open space, and historic preservation.

 

Sy Vo representing 57 Samoset St. will present a request for a zoning variance with the City of Boston to construct a 2 ½ story two-family dwelling on existing 4,482 sq ft lot.

 

Colleen Queally of 59 King Street will present her request for a variance to extend the width of her driveway from 12 feet to 16 feet and to cut curb to landscape driveway raising the slope to rear adding two foot wall and steps to walkway.

 

Mike Oliver from the ESL program at St. Mark’s will give us an update on his program.
