Police Report

C-11 Police Officer Mike Keaney will provide the police report.

Mary Grady and Eleanor Pelletier will talk about Ban the Bag Boston a proposal to ban plastic shopping bags in the city.

Luis Jimenez will give an overview and update on a discussion for a public toilet in the Ashmont Square area.

Jon Rodriguez from the Boston Teachers’ Union will talk about the upcoming school budget.

Brian Diah Outreach Coordinator for Silver Lining Mentoring will talk about his volunteer program for mentoring youth impacted by foster care.

Tri Pham from Tri Seafood at 1616 Dorchester Avenue will appear before us to talk about his request for a beer and wine license.

Note:  At our March 29 meeting we will discuss and vote on a proposal from the Executive Board to raise the membership dues from $7 per year to $10 per year for individuals and from $10 per year to $15 per year for businesses.  If the March 29 vote passes, the dues increase will take effect in April.
